It was hot. If you've never experienced dry heat let me explain to you, it feels like you're sitting in an oven. I won't say it is "worse" than humidity. Just different. So, it was hot. My roommate was still in China, so I had to move pretty much everything in by myself, with help from my parents, and BQ. I can't even remember now if E helped. What I remember is being on the back end of my couch, going in my front door and glancing next door to my left. He was doing the same thing, we smiled at each other, said "hi." I can't remember a single other thing about that day. Just him. I didn't even know him, I wouldn't even talk to him for another month. My heart jumped a little. It was different, because in that moment, when he said "hi" to me was the first time he ever opened up to me. Something about his face, his smile, the fact that we'd caught each other off guard. It was honest.
