I had the unfortunate fortune to flip through the channels today and discover a show that MTV runs called "My Sweet 16," I almost threw up. I couldn't believe the spoiled brats! A sixteen year old girl was in Paris, looking for a dress that cost thousands of dollars, FOR HER SIXTEENTH BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!! I find it so difficult to believe that any parent would indulge a child in such a way. However, there seems to be quite a few parents indulging sixteen year old girls this way. My parents have lived in some fairly affluent neighborhoods, I've seent the lengths that parents will go to attempting to gain their child's love. America has lost itself to keeping up with the Joneses. Which I think we all knew a long time ago. I don't think I can do it. I don't think I could ever handle a sixteen year old girl. I pray that God gives me a boy. Not that that's an issue right now. But I just don't want to handle the temper tantrums, the saying "no" to slutty clothes, D flipping out over her dating.... Ehhhh...

If they've developed methods to somehow govern the sex of your child by the time I'm ready I'm voting for a boy. Is that wrong? Probably.

Neither D, not I has brushed our teeth, showered, or even changed out of pj's today... It's great.

Ok... I need to go make dinner, aka, dial for pizza...
