So I'm sitting at a red light today waiting to turn left... One of those annoying ones without an arrow. So every time the light turns green I have to inch forward into the intersection and time it just right so I don't get smacked into tomorrow by the stream of oncoming traffic. At any rate, the light was red and I was waiting patiently when I heard honking behind me. I checked my rearview mirror to see a furious lady about to jump out of her pants in the car behind me. She was shouting at me "Go, GO DAMNIT!" I looked at the light again. Yup, still red. I shook my head, trying to remember if there were some traffic laws that I had forgotten. Nope. Still ILLEGAL to turn left into oncoming traffic on a red light. I could hear her screaming "Go, you stupid cunt!" above the radio. Really it was almost scary how much she wanted me to break the law. When I looked in the car to the right of me I couldn't do anything but laugh. There sitting next to me looking in HIS rearview mirror, shaking his head in disbelief, was a cop. He looked at me and I just shrugged my shoulders and we both smiled a little as the light turned green.
