Le sigh
D has to work on Valentine's Day, again. Remember my birthday, his birthday, our anniversary, last Valentine's Day? They all included him working and me being really disappointed. I fully expected this, I don't know, I guess I understand but it isn't as if his job is SO important. He COULD take one important day off for me. But he just never plans ahead. Whatever, I'm not going to rehash my previous bitch sessions.
School is proving to be quite the challenge this semester. My 18 hours are keeping me steadily busy. I've been getting up early and working out. We are trying to plan some kind of extended camping trip this summer, I really want to be in shape for it. I'd like to be able to do a lot of hiking without feeling all icky, and since I live in Colorado this is a fantastic place to train. I have to be SO, SO careful though because of a previous knee injury. I'm taking it slow and steady right now, which I'm pretty happy about.
Artos (my Christmas ferret) has learned the hissing sound that the cats make, now he hisses at them every time he sees them. D and I think he thinks that's how they talk. Because it's very clear that he loves them, he would never make mean noises at them, he just doesn't understand. It's so cute I can hardly stand it, maybe it has something to do with his fat, he has so much baby fat and it's extremely adorable.
I need eating. Now.
