I think that maybe I fell in love again.

Somehow D has turned things so far around in the last three weeks that I get all fluttery whenever we're supposed to get together or I know he's calling (thank the Lord for caller ID) it's a real change. Last weekend he told me how happy he is that we're together and that he thinks we're a great team. On Saturday night he drove down here at 4 AM right after he'd just worked all night. We spent all of yesterday together snuggling, holding hands and having as much sex as we could manage around my mother.

Things are better on the mom front as well. I think we were just having a couple of weird days. She's going away for the week tomorrow. I think it'll be good to have a little bit of a break. We've been having some trouble adjusting to one another. I think that she just hasn't known me very well as a person the last few years. She's been an awesome mom, but I think it's difficult to understand each other as adults.

I'm not completely convinced that either situation will last. I really hate to be so skeptical...
