All the small things.

It's finally time. I've found several different libraries that need help. I'm going to go put books on shelves for a living. Well, not a living. More of a supplemental income really. I hope I love the Dewey Decimal system. I miss card catalogs.

Behind me there are sounds of racing paws. It's in the 60's here today, sunny as hell, and the slider is open. Apparently this is cause enough for a cat to run back and forth between the balcony and the bedroom window a million-trillion times. Maybe the fat one will lose some weight.

I was reading Vogue yesterday and some ballerina was saying that her husband once lost seven pounds during a performance of Romeo and Juliet. Apparently it's a very vigorous ballet. I never knew.

I have a cut on my finger, my pinky finger. You remember BQ, from the morning with the snow, and my hand bleeding before we went to Mama's. Well, anyway, it's at that point where it's almost healed, and it itches like hell.

I have a midterm in Shakespeare tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. The damn professor made us read the histories, so not fun. I've read Henry V three times, still can't quite remember what happens, it's a lot of drivel... Not at all like Richard III. At least that was interesting with the serial killing and all.

Someone is grilling out. It smells lovely, like summer.

D and I had "brunch" at a local diner this morning. My Eggs Benedict were awful. Soggy. The whole meal was terrible.

The shining moment of the day, so far, was the kiss at the door. I was expecting the normal peck on the mouth that I normally get in parting. Instead I had my knees weakened. I was still recovering when he got on the elevator.

Time for more Henry V...
